Brats from all over the world are preparing to flock to the cinema when Charli xcx<\/a> hits the silver screen in The Moment<\/em>, a new film scored by her frequent collaborator\u00a0A. G. Cook<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The minds behind last year’s most explosive album, Brat<\/em>, is starring in the upcoming movie with help from her new production company, Studio365. The film’s plot is unknown at this time, but it was reportedly co-written by Charli xcx herself.<\/p>\n

While her lyrics were integral to the “Brat summer” movement, the album wouldn’t have had the same impact without the innovative production of Cook, who was named 2024’s best audio engineer in EDM.com<\/em>‘s list of the year’s top industry leaders<\/a>. Unsurprisingly, he’s been called upon to provide the score for The Moment <\/em>as the duo tackles another artistic medium.<\/p>\n

The film will be distributed by A24, which in recent years has become a fan-favorite studio amongst cinephiles.\u00a0A24 is\u00a0responsible for a number of seminal films released in the last decade, including the Best Picture-winning Everything Everywhere All At Once<\/em>\u00a0as well as\u00a0Hereditary, Uncut Gems<\/em>, Heretic<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/em>Midsommar<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The release date of The Moment <\/em>has not yet been revealed at the time of this writing.<\/p>\n
